“In Stock” items will ship between 2 to 5 business days. Let us know if your order is time-sensitive by emailing us at alfarpottery@gmail.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

“Made to Order” items will ship between 3 to 4 weeks.

“Local Pick Up” If you wish to pick up your order, please select the pick-up option during check out. We will email you available times to pick up within a week of your purchase.

For international orders, please email us for rates before ordering. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any taxes, customs charges, or duties placed on the package.

We package our pottery thoughtfully. If there should be any problem and it does not arrive safely, please take a photo and email us at alfarpottery@gmail.com within 48 hrs of receipt. After this time frame, we cannot assist you. The client is responsible for filing a claim and must deal with the postal or parcel service used.

Unfortunately, if the damaged object is out of stock, it may take 5 to 6 weeks to recreate.

Due to the handmade nature of ceramics, color, size, and shape will vary slightly. These differences are what make each piece unique. All website sales & pre-orders are considered final, and I’m unable to accept returns.

Custom orders are final sales, but please get in touch with me within three days of receipt of your order if you aren’t happy with it to discuss your options. I’m not responsible for incorrect information selected at checkout or provided for customization (i.e., mis-spellings, color, or design choice).

If you place a custom order and need to cancel it, please get in touch with me within 24hrs of ordering.

Since all my work is handmade and carefully crafted on the potter’s wheel, slight variations in the finished product make each piece unique with a distinctive character. Also, please remember monitors may alter colors slightly. Clay and glazes are natural materials, so slight variations in their composition may result in color variations from batch to batch.

I meticulously research, mix, test, and adjust all glazes using safe materials adequately fired to produce surfaces appropriate for food, oven, or microwave. As a result, they are dishwasher safe, resistant to everyday use, and easy to clean.

We recommend hand washing, though most ceramics are food and dishwasher-safe unless indicated in the description.
